Another Jones? YEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAA!!!!! That’s an old Missouri Jones term.
I kind of thought that Mark and I were the end of the Jones line.
But then Jackson Jones came along. Now Anna Renee Jones
It’s kind of like an Olympic Relay exchange between Jones families. Except our Jones side is not contributing any DNA.
But I still think she has my nose.
I remember how my Mother handled the situation with me when my brother Mark was born. I was in my late 2′s to my early 3′s. She gave me little presents all along the way to keep me from getting jealous about the attention given to the new guy.
As she had to go into the Hospital for Mark’s birth, (I remember she was there for 4 or 5 days) she had left a wrapped gift with a card for me to open with my Grandma for every day she was gone. Every day I got a toy while waiting for Mark to show up. I remember asking Mom; “If we don’t like him, can we return him?”.
This reciprocity continued as we grew up. When Mark had a birthday, I also got a small present. When I had a birthday Mark got a small present. Grandma was really good about that.
This took the jealousy out of any sibling rivalry.
LIKE HELL IT DID.
Congratulations, this world can sure use more Good people.
